I really need to go see a dentist. I checked Google and already called the NYU Dental Clinic, since they're supposed to be cheap, but they want me to make an appointment for a $95 evaluation so that they can "discuss my treatment plan" before they make the appointment for a separate cleaning, which is $60. They won't combine the two, and there is no way to get a cleaning without getting the evaluation first. Does anyone have a recommendation for a dentist with a low fee or some kind of sliding scale that will let me make one appointment and get everything done at once? I don't think I have any issues, so I feel like it's a little crazy for me to be forced to make two appointments and pay more than I have to.

Weezer if you have found one, let me know because I need this too. I dont think NJ is any cheaper either, with dentists. However there are some dental schools over the US that have dental students work on your mouth for very low fees. They work with a doctor looking over of course.
