Hello,

I'm planning a bachelor party for my brother in NYC in June/July and I'm looking for a good hotel for us. The plan is to go to a yankee game, rest in the hotel for a bit, then go out on the town for dinner/drinks. There are 8 of us in the party, so i'm not sure there's any suite in a hotel that can put us all in 1 room...we'd probably need a penthouse which we cannot afford...SO, with that said, please make your recommendations for a good resting spot in NYC. Would need 2 rooms adjacent to each other (or close) fitting 4 people each. Just want something nice, not low end or high end as we won't be spending much time there.

The Hotel Pennsylvania at 34th has at least one exceptionally large suite on the 17th floor, the top accommodation floor. I'd start by finding out what that's going for and what their other options are. Summer is the peak of tourist season, though.

Hotel rooms in the newer hotels tend to be quite small -- some scarcely larger than the queen-sized bed.
