Is there a good reason to why its so hard to find a seat on the E train on a weekday around 12 noon? its not rush hours, most people are at work and kids in school at that time and the E runs frequently

Yeah the E is always crowded..I get on weeknights at 34th and the last car (uptown) is always packed, even at 11pm. Sometimes an E comes directly behind it, and usually has less people. But yeah the E is very popular. The F has been real crowded these days also..even late nights

For EVERY "E" train there's at least TWO "F" trains and an E to 179th...
