Hello,
we are four 50 somthing's from the UK, we are comming to New York for new year 2010, we have all been before.

I am having trouble booking anything for new years cos I don,t know the venue's.

We like the Taven on the green to give you some idea of out tastes, but enjoy a good old party, can any one throw a surggest a venue that might suit, our freind came last year to NY and went to a ballroom in Little Italy, but due to a bereavment in his family don't want to botter him with this stuff.

As I know, Tavern on the green restaurant had filed for bankruptcy and stopped operating January 1st of this year.

Very smart that you started to looking into New Year Eve 2010 restaurant options this early, good places get booked for NYE pretty early.

Thank you so much for your reply and the news re the Taven, what a shame.

I have looked at a few places but wanted some where there was music and somewhere nice for new year but i dont know a lot of the venues.

Hi can you give some advice about flights.. which airline to book with/cheapest.
Where to stay. I will be travellin form the UK and never been to NYC befoe so any good advice will be greatly received.
