Question; if i buy a 7day unlimited metro card does this allow me to travel from Manhattan-Bronx and Manhattan- Brooklyn or is it only for travel within Manhattan?
I hope someone can answer this as i becoming quite confused!!

Until the late 1990s or so, there were two fare zones in the subway system and you had to pay more to reach the far destinations. Now it's all flat-rate -- once you're past the turnstiles you can go anywhere until you pass back out through the turnstiles again. Sometimes there are even transfers between trains or between buses and trains.
The unlimited Metrocards can be used once every 15 minutes, I believe, until they expire.
