Hello

i'll be going to new york for the first time in september, and i'd like to know the fastest & easiest way to get to the central park
from the JFK International airport.

Are there direct busses towards the city center? or trains?

Thanks in advance

If you don't mind 1 train switch... You could take Airtrain to Jamaica, Queens station and take subway directly from there. Will cost you 7 dollars and will take about 45 minutes. If you have a lot of luggage though, I recommend taking a taxi. Trip from JFK will cost you 45 dollars plus toll plus tip. $55 all together.

Thanks for the fast answer,
I assume the airtrain departs from the airport,
What subway should i be looking for? Or is it displayed that he runs to central park?

Yes, Airtrain runs between JFK and NYC. http://www.panynj.go...around_JFK.html You will need to take Blue Airtrain line, than get on E train. E train can get you pretty close to Central Park - 5th Ave / 53rd Street or 7th Avenue and 53rd street. http://www.mta.info/...maps/submap.htm
