Description
The JAPAN CUTS film festival is chock full of stellar screenings for its third year out. This year, Yukihiko Tsutsumi’s hit film 20th Century Boys, a live-action thriller based on the manga comic series, finally appears in the US. Other highlights include Gen Takahashi’s gritty police drama Confessions of a Dog and The Magic Hour, Koki Mitani’s whimsical comedy about an actor hired to impersonate a hit man.
